ModSpace seeks an Architect to join our design services team in the ModSpace Dallas, TX location.
This multi-talented professional will provide architectural support for building & project design including floor plan document management to the field sales organization to drive growth of project business. This individual will work closely with other members of the Construction Services team. This position is responsible for supporting inter-departmental projects as they relate to their architectural and code requirements.
Day to day responsibilties may include:
Attend customer meetings with sales or CS teams to develop project programming with throughout North America.
Develop conceptual drawings and sketches that support projects in the programing stage.
Lead design review with customers and sales.
Develop CAD drawings for proposals and/or presentations on projects based on project requirements.
Support new product development and launches.
Self-starter who wants to be part of a team that creates successful proposals and grows our business
Establish and manage drawing and document management process and standards with manufactures and field organization.
Works with Sales, Operations and CS to deliver projects from the qualify to closeout stages.
Drive customer satisfaction as they relate to custom projects and bid proposals.
Obtain additional Architectural State Licenses.
Administer the AIA-CES program and attend AIA seminars as required.
For consideration, you must have:
BS/BA in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or similar field
5+ years AutoCAD experience; REVIT preferred
5+ years of construction CAD and document management experience
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication and facilitation skills
Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction general and subcontract drawings, specifications, and methods.
Manager level experience with digitized construction management collaboration and project management software and tools.
Occasional travel up to 30% for client meetings, job site visits, etc.

PC Proficiency in a Windows environment with MS Office Suite
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
