TheJob Captain assists the Project Architect/Design Manager with the design and follow-through of projects. The role is to develop and coordinate the production of design documents with the team, and provide assistance and design guidance for the construction team. Typically Job Captains have a career path to develop into a Project Architect, Design Manager, or other leadership position.
Production of construction documents.
Coordinate design solutions with team and consultants
Work with Project Managers and Superintendents on constructability issues.
Construction administration including submittal review and field visits/meetings.
3 years minimum experience
Professional Architectural degree required
Ability to produce and coordinate all parts of Contract Documents
International Building Code experience
Ability/willingness to travel
BIM 360 Glue or NavisWorks Manage (3D collision software) experience a plus
